Lebanon: New inspiration to realize goal of building a Maharishi Tower of Invincibility

Plans to build a Maharishi Tower of Invincibility in Lebanon were the subject of great attention during a recent national videoconference.

The initiative to build the Tower is one of the most important priorities of the national organization offering the programmes of the Global Country of World Peace, said Dr Lucien Mansour, Administrator of Lebanon for the Global Country, in his address to the conference on 26 January.

Participating in the conference were National Directors, Teachers, and practitioners from throughout Lebanon of the programmes and technologies of consciousness brought to the world by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

Continuing to address the conference from the International Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in MERU, Holland, Dr Mansour devoted considerable attention to the need to quickly realize the goal of building a Tower of Invincibility in Lebanon.

The project to build a Tower of Invincibility in every country is a primary focus of the Global Country of World Peace worldwide, he said, as demonstrated in recent tours by Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country, to countries throughout the world. Dr Morris met with similar gatherings of National Directors and members of the Global Country in each country, inviting and inspiring them to start building their own Maharishi Tower of Invincibility without delay.

Dr Mansour recalled for everyone the initial inception of this worldwide initiative, in the commitment given in January 2008 by all the Administrators of the Global Country for every country, in response to Maharishi's request for each country to build a Maharishi Tower of Invincibility.

The Maharishi Tower for Lebanon will be the storehouse of the knowledge of Maharishi's Vedic Science, Dr Mansour said. 'It will ensure that this knowledge is safe and maintained in its purity throughout the coming ages.'

That the Tower will be built according to Vastu principles of Vedic architecture 'will ensure a long-lasting structure, a safe and sound structure to house this most precious knowledge . . . which is the means of ensuring an age of enlightenment for generations and generations to come,' he said. 'It is also the surest means of communicating and sharing this knowledge with all.'

Earlier in his address Dr Mansour praised the business plan that had been completed for the Tower in Lebanon, which was sent to other countries in his domain as a model for their own Maharishi Towers of Invincibility.

He called on everyone present to rise to the opportunity and focus on building this beautiful monument. Having earlier praised the achievements of the national organization in many areas of Maharishi's programmes, he said that this project is the most urgent: creating a safe place to house the Vedic knowledge, thanks to which an irreversible age of enlightenment has been created. With everyone's focus on this goal, 'the Tower of Invincibility has already started, we have already made the foundation'. Dr Mansour quoted Maharishi's words, 'We must just pick something great to do, and then do it.'

He went on to discuss in depth another initiative of great, timely importance—creating a sustained and powerful influence of coherence, harmony, and peace in the collective consciousness of Lebanon and the entire Middle East—by establishing large, permanent groups practising Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying together.
