Germany: Maharishi's programmes for peace draw new level of appreciation

Interest and appreciation are expanding in Germany for Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes and technologies of consciousness to create world peace.

An administrator of these programmes in Germany recently received a letter from a government leader in the field of defence, appreciating their purpose and contribution for peace in the world. The government leader's 'primary focus is safeguarding life', said the Administrator.

Recently, the president of a military university was also impressed with Maharishi's programme of Invincible Defence Technology. The administrator met with the president and showed him the DVD presentation of world-renowned quantum physicist Dr John Hagelin, Executive Director of the International Center for Invincible Defense. At the end of the meeting, the president was so impressed that he said this should be a new degree programme for the university.

It's a joy to see these leaders turning to a peaceful solution to the problem of war, the administrator commented.

An invincible state of peace and progress is already rising in Germany, the administrator continued in his report on 23 March. More people are practising Yogic Flying together, including two groups of members of the Maharishi Purusha Programme.*

These groups are creating an influence of coherence for the nation, resulting in many positive trends. For example, he said, 'fatalities on the road are going down every year by 12 per cent. . . . They are now about 75 per cent less than a few years ago.'

* Maharishi designed the Maharishi Purusha Programme for men who wish to dedicate themselves fulltime to the most rapid pace of evolution and to creating world peace, through extended group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, and activity to fulfil the goals of organizations offering Maharishi's programmes in 192 countries.
