Maharishi Vedic Pandits supporting peace, harmony in Nepal

17 July 2011
Maharishi Vedic Pandits are supporting the rise of peace, stability, prosperity, and progress in Nepal.
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi had emphasized that the problems facing Nepal would not be solved politically, but rather by creating coherence in the nation through Yoga and Yagya.
Yoga refers to group practice of Maharishi's technologies of consciousness—the Transcendental Meditation Technique and the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying.
Yagya refers to ancient precise performances by specially trained Maharishi Vedic Pandits of India, to create specific life-supporting influences from the field of pure consciousness, the field of total Natural Law.
Vedic Pandits began coming to Nepal starting with one Pandit, who was invited into the home of a leading businessman, the director of the Transcendental Meditation Programme in Nepal.
In 2009 that number expanded to 11, and now there are more than 40 Pandits practising Yoga and Yagya together to support peace, harmony, and progress in the nation. Nepal also has a new centre to support these activities.
Several leaders in Nepal have attended celebrations including Vedic performances by the Vedic Pandits.
In the coming days, Global Good News will continue to feature news from Nepal.
