Nepal inspired by Invincible Defence Technology, presented at conference

A recent conference in Nepal awakened great interest in the Vedic knowledge and technologies brought to light by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, especially in the areas of agriculture and defence.

In May, Dr Deepak Baskota, an administrator of the Transcendental Meditation Programme in Nepal, gave a presentation to 50 leaders of Nepalese society. The presentation included topics of Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture, Invincible Defence Technology, and Maharishi Ayur-Veda natural health care.

Also presenting at this conference were John Fagan, PhD, an international expert on health and food issues in biotechnology and genetic engineering; and a medical doctor who is an expert in the benefits of Transcendental Meditation for mind and body.

This presentation sparked discussion among leading military and security officials, who became interested in the idea of establishing a permanent group of advanced meditators practising the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, in the armed forces; such groups have been described by Maharishi as a Prevention Wing of the Military. Ten of the attendees at the conference learnt Transcendental Meditation soon after the event.
